Rick Lee is Professor of Philosophy at DePaul University. His interests include medieval philosophy, early modern European philosophy, Marx and Marxism–particularly the Frankfurt School, and the philosophy of comedy. He received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland and from The New School for Social Research.
He is the author of The Thought of Matter: Materialism, Conceptuality, and the Thought of Immanence (Rowman and Littlefield, 2015) and you can find him on the internet at the links below.

David (PhD, Philosophy) is an award-winning educator, researcher, and author, specializing in the philosophy of technology with a focus on the moral and legal challenges of artificial intelligence and robots. He is the author of over 100 scholarly articles and has published fifteen books, including The Machine Question: Critical Perspectives on AI, Robots, and Ethics (MIT Press 2012), Of Remixology: Ethics and Aesthetics After Remix (MIT Press 2016), Robot Rights (MIT Press 2018), and Person, Thing, Robot: A Moral and Legal Ontology for the 21st Century and Beyond (MIT Press 2023). He currently holds the position of Professor of Communication Technology at Northern Illinois University and Associate Professor of applied ethics at Łazarski University in Warsaw, Poland.

Leigh completed her BA in Philosophy at the University of Memphis, her MA in Philosophy at Villanova University, and her PhD in Philosophy (with a doctoral minor in African and African-American Studies) at The Pennsylvania State University. She wrote her dissertation on Derrida, truth commissions, and transitional justice, but her current teaching and research primarily focuses on the ethics and politics of emergent technologies.
